This badge verifies the earner is prepared to think through novel and complicated ethical issues. The earner has completed training that targets basic knowledge and skills to identify a vast array of moral reasons, to look at an issue from different moral lenses, and to weigh competing moral considerations. The earner completed firsthand experiences involving identifying stakeholders, identifying consequential moral reasons, deontological moral reasons, and moral reasons from the perspective of virtue ethics. Earners are prepared to confront complicated ethical issues and constructively reason their way through them, while appreciating different points of view.
